The SAP Activate Methodology

The SAP Activate methodology is the successor of the ASAP methodology. It has been developed based on many years of SAP experience gained in the execution of projects implementing and developing SAP Systems in many companies around the world. As part of the SAP Activate methodology, special content was prepared and made available with a number of document templates, examples and tools to allow efficient adaptation of the methodology to the implementation of the project. The SAP Activate methodology can be used for individual projects and programs, as well as interact with SAP Premium Engagement services. This methodology is in line with the PMI (Project Management Institute).

These include templates, questionnaires, checklists, guides and other tools that facilitate the efficient, consistent and repeatable implementation of Projects.

Upgrades

Optimization of business processes, expensive maintenance of old solutions and the requirement to introduce new SAP functions and extensions (resulting, e.g. from changes in legal regulations) leads to the need to update and raise the standard of the SAP system. This process is called the SAP upgrade project.
Contrary to appearances, the system upgrade is not only a technical undertaking involving IT. The Data Migration

The process of migration of basic data (such as Client, material, employees, fixed assets, chart of accounts) and transactional data (e.g. opening balance, individual items, depreciation, use of vacation limits, open contracts, open orders) to the new system environment SAP platform is one of the key factors for the success of the entire enterprise.
